Attorney Edward Reservitz began practicing law in 1967. In 1968 he established the Law Offices of Edward L. Reservitz. As a sole practitioner he concentrated on civil, criminal, and domestic litigation. In 1970 he was joined by Attorney Stephen C. Steinberg who together founded the Law Firm of Reservitz & Steinberg, P.C. Since the inception of that firm he has enjoyed a thriving practice focused on the areas of civil and criminal litigation, contract law, corporate law, construction law, personal injury, real estate law, conveyancing, divorce and child custody matters. His personal trial experience includes numerous jury trials in the Superior Court including a renowned murder trial. He has tried civil, criminal and probate trials in Barnstable, Bristol, Plymouth, Norfolk, and Suffolk Counties, as well as trials in the Federal District Court. From 1978 to 1982 he had served as a Master of the Plymouth County Superior Court where he heard civil cases, ruled on evidentiary matters, rendered decisions, and awarded damages. He has served as an arbitrator from 1985 to 1990, and a Conciliator for the Conciliation/Mediation Program for the Brockton District Court from 1996 to 2004. From 2003 to 2005, Attorney Reservitz was honored with the privilege to serve on the Judicial Nominating Committee under Governors Cellucci and Swift where he participated in the selection of judges for the Commonwealth. In 2005 Edward Reservitz joined his sons Andrew and David to form Reservitz Law Offices, P.C. where he continues to practice civil litigation, corporate and real estate law, and criminal defense. |
